From the Executive: Strategy and Back to Business WBCT is conducting a complete review of its strategy for the restoration of the Wilts & Berks canal to bring it completely up to date Hignways England M4 agreement signed Ecology and undergraduate placements Fundraising at WBCT Visitor Centre Having announced the intention to reopen the 'shop' in Swindon, it actually happened on Friday June 11th. Robert Buckland QC MP, our Vice-President, kindly came along to join an interview by BBC Radio Wiltshire, during which he took a photo of Gary Kenyon & Chris Barry for his Facebook page, since shared on our own page. Currently the premises are open Fridays & Saturdays, 11am - 3pm, but hopefully the recruitment of more volunteers will allow us to open more days. If you would like to join the team, please contact voluteer@wbct.org.uk Peterborough Arms receives national award A prestigious national award has been presented to the Peterborough Arms following the refurbishment work carried out by Trust volunteers. See the link below for more details New Programmes Manager joins WBCT Greg Bensberg joined the Trust on 28 June in the role of Programmes Manager. He will be a member of the Back to Business team which is focused on new restoration projects along our line. 200 Club The June draw has taken place.
