The first item this month is a report on the Trust's February Executive Committee meeting.
Executive Committee The Trust's Executive Committee meets monthly to discuss & manage the Trust's day-to-day business. A summary of issues under discussion are given, so readers are better informed not just of what's happened, but what may be round the corner. At the March meeting the 10 year plan for the East Vale and Abingdon Branch were discussed. Preparation for after lockdown was also covered. WAG Nothing to do with dogs, but everything to do with water! As night follows day, a restored canal needs water, but since our canal line acquired the protected status it has in planning terms, other things have moved on and it turns out that Environment Agency regulations on water abstraction have, unsurprisingly, become much tighter.
