Swindon Borough Council, collaboration on our Canal’s land needs

Our planning team, under the leadership of Rod Hacker, has completed a response to an invitation from Swindon Borough Council to establish precisely what land the restored Wilts & Berks canal will need to deliver its planned route in the Borough.

Although the protected basic line of the canal in Swindon was established some time ago, the data was not sufficient to be used in the detailed planning of engineering and construction work. This collaboration represents another positive step in our increasingly fruitful relationship with Swindon Borough Council and its electorate.
