Restoring 70 miles of canal and towpath for the benefit of local communities, wildlife and leisure
Come and join us.

Back in March, we reported on an appeal to raise £18,000 for an essential new drainage system at the Trust-owned Peterborough Arms.

This year’s wet weather has worsened a long-standing problem of water run-off from the road, causing flooding on two sides of the Grade II-listed building at Dauntsey Lock.

Offering real ales, a log burner, beer garden and skittle teams, the dog-friendly pub is listed in the Campaign for Real Ale’s 2024 Good Beer Guide.

So far, an impressive £12,126 has been raised.  With a final push, we can achieve the target and get started on the work.

The Trust would really appreciate your donations.  Please click on the link below to help us reach the total.  Thank you for your support.

Here’s to the Peterborough Arms continuing to serve great beer and food!
