Swindon Quiz Night

On Thursday 22nd August 2024, Swindon Branch held yet another successful Quiz Night at The Manor, Cheney Manor Road, Swindon, which raised £90.30, after expenses, which included The Manor's famous buffet!

With 33 people split across 9 teams, and Swindon Branch Fundraiser, Peggy-Sue Ford taking the reins of Quiz Master again, it was a great night had by all.

With 7 rounds, and a total of 90 points up for grabs, the Teams were in full braniac mode.

Liz and Chris Barry raised an extra £161 with their excellent tombola.

There were prizes for the Team with the highest points, and the Team with the lowest points! 

This time, the prize for the Team with the highest points, were engraved slate coasters, with Dragonflies on them, and a bag of Smarties for the Team with the lowest points.

After a close start between the Teams, the Team with the highest points were "Playgroup Reunited" and the Team with the lowest points were "Brain Fog Quartet".

Well done to all involved, we will be back with another Quiz Night in November 2024.
